  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar sifted
  • 5 tbsp Milk adjust consistency later
  • 2 tbsp Light Corn Syrup helps maintain texture
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract pure extract
  • 1 pinch Fine Salt optional

Method
 

  1. Combine powdered sugar and salt in a mixing bowl until evenly blended.
  2. Add milk, corn syrup, and vanilla. Beat until smooth, creamy, and glossy.
  3. Adjust consistency as needed. The frosting should spread easily while maintaining structure.
  4. Transfer frosting to an airtight container and press plastic wrap directly onto the surface.
  5. Refrigerate until needed. Stir thoroughly before decorating and add a few drops of milk if necessary.
  6. Spread or pipe onto cooled cookies, then allow decorations to set before serving or packaging.

Notes

For softer frosting, add slightly more milk. For a firmer finish, add extra powdered sugar. Freeze frosting in sealed containers for longer storage and thaw in the refrigerator before use. Stir well before assembly to restore texture. Customize with citrus, maple, peppermint, or almond flavors. Store prepared frosting refrigerated and decorated cookies in airtight containers.
