Ingredients

Bread Batter
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring Cups
  • Spatula
  • Loaf Pan
  • Oven
  • Cooling Rack

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare loaf pan. Mash bananas until smooth.
  2. Mix maple syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla into bananas until smooth.
  3. Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt gently for a soft batter.
  4. Pour batter into pan and smooth the surface evenly.
  5. Bake until golden and set. Cool before slicing for best structure.

Notes

For softer bread, avoid overmixing batter. For crisp edges, bake slightly longer. Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts. Add nuts or chocolate chips for variation. Store in an airtight container or freeze slices for extended freshness.
