Method
 

  1. Mix crumbs, butter, and sugar until evenly moistened. Press firmly into lined pan for a crisp base.
  2. Chill crust for 10 minutes until set.
  3. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Fold in whipped topping gently for a light creamy texture.
  5. Spread filling over chilled crust and smooth the top evenly.
  6. Toss strawberries with warmed jam, then arrange over filling attractively.
  7. Refrigerate until firm. Lift from pan and cut clean bars with a warm knife.

Notes

For softer bars, chill until just set. For firmer clean slices, freeze 15 minutes before cutting. Use parchment for easy lifting and assembly handling. Swap strawberries with blueberries or peaches for flavor changes. Store covered in refrigerator up to 3 days.
