  • 2 tbsp sugar
Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping thawed
Topping
  • 3 cups strawberries sliced
  • 0.25 cup strawberry jam warmed

Method
 

  1. Mix crumbs, butter, and sugar until sandy. Press firmly into pan for a crisp base.
  2. Chill crust for 10 minutes until set.
  3. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until silky and lump free.
  4. Fold in whipped topping gently to keep the filling light and airy.
  5. Spread filling over crust and smooth the top.
  6. Toss strawberries with jam, then spoon evenly over filling.
  7. Refrigerate until firm. Slice with a warm knife for neat layers.

Notes

For softer texture, chill less time. For firmer slices, freeze 20 minutes before serving. Handle slices with a thin spatula after warming the knife. Swap strawberries for raspberries or peaches for flavor changes. Store covered in refrigerator up to 3 days.
