Cream Layer

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping thawed
Strawberry Layer
  • 4 cups strawberries sliced
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Mix strawberries with sugar and lemon juice, then let them release their juices.
  2. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.

  4. Arrange a layer of cake cubes in the bottom of the trifle bowl.
  5. Add a layer of cream mixture followed by a layer of strawberries.
  6. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with strawberries on top.
  7. Chill thoroughly before serving to allow flavors and textures to blend.

Notes
