Ingredients

  • ½ cup 113 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 ½ cups 300 g powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Place softened cream cheese and butter into mixing bowl.
  2. Beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add 2 ½ cups powdered sugar while mixing on low speed.
  4. Add vanilla extract and pinch salt.
  5. Beat on medium-high speed for 2–3 minutes until fluffy.
  6. Scrape bowl sides to ensure even blending.
  7. Spread over cooled cake or pipe onto cupcakes immediately.
