Notes

For softer cookies, bake slightly less and store in airtight containers. For crispier texture, bake a few extra minutes. Freeze dough portions for up to 2 months and bake from chilled. Handle warm cookies carefully during decorating. Customize flavor with cinnamon chips, pecans, maple extract, or dried cranberries. Store at room temperature in a sealed container for up to 5 days.
